Last Friday morning (April 23) my unattended cell phone listed three missed calls from 1-000-000-0000. Don’t bother trying to call this number because it will not go through, I know because after listening to a prerecorded voice message, I tried to call them back.

 

The voice message was by a young woman who wanted me to join ‘them’ on Saturday at the State Capital in Phoenix in a protest against the new Arizona illegal immigration law. Now granted my blog readership is very small, but obviously no one at this Leftist protest organizing organization has ever read anything that I have written, for if by some small chance they had, they would not have wasted their time or money in calling me three times.

 

Regardless it does give one pause to wonder at just how big of an area around Phoenix was canvassed for support by this Progressive organization, how much money they had at their disposal, where all that money came from, and just how quickly they were organizing to protest a law that had yet to be enacted? Governor Brewer would not even sign the bill into law until later that same day and the law will not go into effect until ninety days after the close of this Congressional session.

 

Since our Governor had the moral courage to sign such a controversial law this entire episode has been a shining example of the hypocrisy and idiocy of the Left. So much so that it is almost amusing to watch this cast of Liberal, Commie, Progressive puppets dance on their strings to the tired old tune of bogus racism mixed with the angry rap of anticipated abuse of some yet still imaginary, futuristic unknowns’ Civil Rights.

 

Meanwhile our beautiful State has been under attack from the Left as a bastion of racists Nazis! Huh, and here I thought we were just all Wildcats, Lumberjacks and Sun Devils.

 

Obama, as the campaigning “Unifier” once told a gullible America, “…that there is no Red America, there is no Blue America, there is no Black America…” and so on and so forth with his lying “vote for me” nonsense* but now he singles out the citizens of Arizona as being unlike the rest of “You All.”

 

Obama said us Zonies are “misguided,” or at least he said our new immigration law is “misguided’ which when 70% of us Zonies agree with the law is the same as saying we are “misguided.” But then Obama was wrong when he also said that the Cambridge police “acted stupidly,” so as a Zonie if being maligned by Obama includes me in such distinguished company as the fine brave officers of the Cambridge Police, I will wear this Obama label of “Misguided” with pride.

 

Maybe we Zonies should all wear T-shirts with “Misguided” written on the front? That would at least be better than waiting until we go bankrupt, like California, as our border states have had to pay the high costs of paying for all of the benefits for these illegal aliens. Zonies wearing “Misguided” T-shirts sure is better than being Californians wearing shirts declaring “We’re Broke!” or “Busted!” 

 

Obama is also concerned that our new law may be unconstitutional. But he was only joking, right?

 

After taking office while refusing to prove his legal right to hold that office by spending over two million dollars not to release his legal birth certificate, or any other documents from his past, after signing into law his completely unconstitutional ObamaCare, after his unlawful takeovers of private industry and banks, suddenly Obama is now worried about the Constitution! Not to mention that he even has the gall to refer to the Constitution by name after all he’s done to rip it to shreds, but now he arrogantly preaches to the rest us about its legalities. May the Lord have mercy on such a reprehensible, egotistical stooge!

 

Commanded by his now constitutionally concerned President Attorney General Eric “A Nation of Cowards” Holder vows to investigate the constitutionality of this new Arizona law. It is a shame that Holder does not have the courage to uphold his oath of office and question the constitutionality of ObamaCare. As the Attorney General of the United States, Holder’s loyalty, duty and responsibility is supposed to be to the American people and our Constitution, not his President or his Party. But then now I must be joking.

 

Holder promises to keep a close eye on us Zonies to make sure we don’t violate anybody’s Civil Rights. Even before anyone’s Civil Rights have been violated, and before anyone has even come forth to claim such violations, Holder is already investigating our State’s outstanding law enforcement agencies. How’s that for being on the ball? Whether you’re a Zonie or not that’s your tax dollars at work. When there is so much taxpayer money already being wasted by this administration, this sort of partisan political maneuvering just makes you want to vomit.

 

But I have to tell you that by golly now I’ll sleep better in knowing that Holder is watching out for somebody’s Civil Rights. After refusing to prosecute those Black Panthers who were caught on tape fragrantly violating the rights of voters in the last election I was more than a little concerned that our Attorney General just didn’t have the time or the desire to worry about the Civil Rights of the average American citizen.

 

Of course in the case of this new Arizona immigration law good old Eric and the US Justice Department will be more concerned with the Civil Rights of the foreign invaders than the Civil Rights of Arizona’s American citizens. But then that’s just how these new Progressive Democrats Roll.

 

Add this to Obama and Holder’s failed plan to conduct the trials of the 9-11 terrorists in New York City to insure their Civil Rights and we can all sleep better in knowing that Obama and his AT are both concerned with at least protecting somebody’s Civil Rights. Still it is a shame that they aren’t as nearly concerned with the Civil Rights of American Citizens and are only concerned about upholding the Constitution when it fits their purpose.    

 

Adding her two pesos to the assault on Arizona our former Governor, and now Obama puppet, DHS Secretary Janet (“The System Worked”) Napolitano stated that the Southwest border is “…as secure as it has ever been.”

 

Well at least she only told a half lie, for in my lifetime spanning over half a century our southern border has been about as secure as a blindfolded drunk walking a high wire. But since Obama has taken office we have seen an increase in illegal immigration, drug trafficking, kidnapping and violence on the border that even until now has been unprecedented. In other words that blindfolded drunk fell off that high wire a long time ago, or most probably with all of the gun play that has erupted ‘down there’ he may have just been shot.

 

Republican State Rep. John Kavanagh pointed out, “While the Bush administration dropped the ball on border security and illegal immigration, the Obama administration can’t even find it.”

 

All in all Secretary Napolitano may be the next biggest boob in the Obama Administration, being second only to VP Joe Biden. With her we have the head of Homeland Security who cannot bring herself to utter the word “terrorist,” thinks that terrorists acts are “man made disasters,” that returning Veterans are “rightwing extremists,” that despite the facts proving otherwise, our borders “are as secure as ever,” and when some teenage punk gets on an airplane to Detroit and tries to blow it up by setting his underwear on fire only to be foiled by the quick actions of some civilian passengers, she claims that “the system worked!” Is Napolitano Italian for incompetent? Well at least her appointment to the DHS got her out of our Governor’s office.

 

Of course the ACLU has also vowed to file lawsuits on the behalf of anyone who believe their Civil Rights have been violated by this new law. I think it is time for the citizens of this country, and because of the present focus on Arizona, especially Zonies, that a class action lawsuit should be filed against the ACLU for preventing us from exercising our civil rights in protecting our lives and property from foreign invaders.

 

Meanwhile other States have called for a boycott in doing business with Arizona. Several members of the LA City Council have signed a boycott Arizona petition.

 

In the self designated “safe haven” sanctuary city for illegal immigrants of San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom has not only joined the boycott but has also banned city employees from traveling to Arizona. Ouch, that hurts, so I guess there will be no Gay Pride Parade, Marches to Legalize Marijuana or boycotts of our military in Phoenix this year.

 

One quick note here:

 

In the passing of this law Arizona has been roundly and viciously criticized and condemned for enacting a State law trying to enforce a Federal law against illegal immigration. Some, including Obama and Holder, have said that the State of Arizona does not have the right to enforce a Federal law, even though the State is only trying to protect its citizens and property. Yet isn’t it strange that there is no such sharp or ferocious criticism, or even the slightest condemnation by the Federal or State governments of cities such as San Francisco who have deliberately deemed themselves “safe haven sanctuaries” for the same illegal immigrants who have broken this Federal law that Arizona now wants to enforce?

 

Moving on:

 

Dave Zirin, some self bloviating sportswriter for some unknown rag named Progressive Magazine, states that he will not be covering the Diamondbacks “for the foreseeable future,” as if he was the last word on the D-Backs… or anything else.

 

Other lame-brained Lefties have also asked that people boycott the D-Backs road games. I guess they never stopped to think that fans boycotting their home teams’ home games hurt the home teams more than the visitors? But then hey, they’re Liberals, and who has ever heard of any Liberals who ever stopped to think?

 

Meanwhile the NBA playoff Phoenix Suns must have slipped the Lefties’ radar because I have not heard of any boycott against them. But like I said, its early yet as the law hasn’t even gone into effect.

 

The sports angle of this current boycott is very reminiscent of how Arizona came to have a Martin Luther King Day when the NFL threatened that they would never allow Arizona to host a Super Bowl unless the State set aside another paid holiday for Government employees. Here in Arizona the issue was economics but of course the Left and the NFL said the lack of this holiday was strictly racism.

 

A couple of years after the holiday was passed we got a Super Bowl and the citizens got the shaft, twice. Not only do we now have to pay taxes for State employees to not work on another day, nobody but the elite can even afford to buy a ticket for the over hyped local Super Bowls. Even if it is just a few miles out on the 101 and being played in a new stadium subsidized by those same-shafted taxpayers.

 

The craziest part of this boycott comes from our own State Congressman Raul Grijalva who initiated the boycott! Arizona now has its very own Benedict Arnold! This clown should not only be run out of office he should be run out of the State!

 

Raul should seriously consider moving to someplace like San Francisco where he would feel much more at home with the other Liberal fanatics. Or since he sided with illegal Mexican immigrates against his own countrymen perhaps a move to warm, sunny Cordoba, way down on the southern tip of Mexico, as the farther away from Arizona the better for this traitor.

 

But sadly, the truth be told with the way this country is going politically, and with the Dems running first Hanoi Kerry and then Socialist Obama for President, Raul Grijalva will probably be elected as President in 2016. Well, that is if Obama doesn’t completely destroy our Constitution by 2012 and become another Chavez.

 

To add a little salsa to the insanity Mexico has issued travel warnings to its citizens, at least those few who haven’t already crossed into the US. Ironically instead of the US issuing the constant warnings about Americans risking death by traveling into the violence of Mexico, Mexico is now warning its citizens about the dangers of just being captured in Arizona.

 

In crossing the border Mexicans believe they are just traveling to ‘Northern Mexico’, or as we call it, Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas.

 

At least this warning is a change from a government that has consistently encouraged its citizens to break our immigration laws. Excuse me did I say encourage? That’s not strong enough, what I meant to say is a government that has actively enabled, prodded, and celebrated its citizens who break our immigration laws.

 

The Mexican government also cares little about the crimes being committed against their own people who are coming to the United States. The US Federal government, and the Left care even less. In stopping this illegal invasion across our border thousands of Mexican lives will be saved. These lives and the suffering of tens of thousands of others are now willfully being sacrificed for the political agendas of both the Mexican and United States’ governments.

 

In their protests of falsely protecting the individual’s civil rights the Left is willing to let countless others suffer and die at the hands of the paid ‘coyotes,’ nature and drug cartels. As always the Left covers its sins with a blanket of false concern for the individual when in fact they don’t give a damn about anyone’s civil rights.

 

In sharp contrast to the mild, law abiding Tea Party protests this weeks protests in Phoenix sharply reminded everyone how quickly the Left resorts to violence and vandalism in their protests. It has been that way since the ‘60s.

 

Arrests were made as plastic water bottle projectiles filled the air, bouncing off of people’s heads. It was amazing to see how little this was covered by the Liberal media. The angry bottle throwing villains in the streets were no news compared to the Nazi racist Arizonians who dared to pass and to support this new law.

 

But America is wising up and getting tired of the Left’s antics. I feel that these protests are going to be just another nail in the coffin of Socialism here in the United States.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, way back East in the Promised Land of Big Government somebody muttered, “Racial profiling…” and Reverend Al Sharpton almost broke his neck snapping his head up to shout, “WHERE?”

 

Racial hatred wise it has been a slow year for Big Al so you can understand his exuberance.

 

After his ‘Crew’ explained three or four times what was going on with Arizona’s new immigration law, and just where and what Arizona is, Big Al made his decision.

 

“I will go to Texas… I mean Arizona!” Big Al declared.

 

“I will march with the oppressed and I will commit civil disobedience.”

 

“They can lock me up but we shall overcome.” Said Big Al…or at least something to that effect…

 

Well I say, shoot, heck ya, come on down, Al! You want to break our laws? No problem. Here in Arizona we have approximately 600,000 illegal aliens who have already broken our laws just by crossing our border with more coming over every day.

 

Seventeen percent of those folks are committing even more serious crimes like murder, drug and illegal immigration trafficking, kidnapping, assault, rape, robberies, car jacking, gang violence, DUIs and on and on. So what is one more little criminal like you? What is civil disobedience anyway, a misdemeanor? Ha! That’s kids stuff here in the Kidnapping Capital of the US of A! Give us your best shot, Buddy.

 

But Al, I can’t wait until you meet our Sheriff Joe, and I’m sure you will look good in pink.

 

By the way Al… I know that you are an expert on baloney… but what are your thoughts on green baloney sandwiches?
