Every day now it is becoming clearer that the citizens of our Nation are finally realizing that Barrack Hussein Obama is not the slightly liberal yet still moderate politician that he pretended to be during the last Presidential campaign. All I, and many others like me, can say is that it is about time. We also still hope that this newfound enlightenment won’t be too late to stop what seems to be his double-edged determination to ruin our Nation while taking control of every aspect of our daily lives.

In writing this post I am really trying hard not to sound arrogant, even though to many of you what I am about to say will come off as an “I told you so.” I apologize if it seems that way, because I hate that too, but perhaps in this case it just can’t be helped. I mean, after all, many of you did vote for this guy! With that in mind, here goes:

Although during last year’s election campaign we were given very little information about Obama’s background and past associations, what little that was allowed by the media to be shown to us should have been a lot more disturbing to a lot more voters than it was. Likewise there was plenty of information on this extremely un-vetted candidate available on the Internet if anyone cared to go digging for it.

For example, as both Obama’s father and stepfather were both Muslims, it was noted that Obama had attended a Muslim school in Indonesia, one that only a Muslim could attend. It was also noted that he had several associates with pro-Muslim/anti Israeli/anti-American sympathies. Then there was his speech where Obama mentioned he had campaigned in most of the 57 States of the United States thus mixing up our 50 States with the 57 States of Islam, but then I guess we all do that from time to time. When Obama entered office two of the very first things that he did were to contact Iran’s President Ahmadinejad and to allocate 900 million of our tax dollars to Gaza, which is under the control of the terrorist organization, Hamas. Now no one seems to remember that back on Friday, 10-10-08, Obama’s foreign adviser Robert Malley was fired from Obama’s campaign for meeting with officials of the terrorist group, Hamas. Of course Obama said he had no idea that his foreign adviser was meeting with this terrorist group, which would receive just shy of one billion dollars within days of Obama’s inauguration. Of course the idea that Malley met with Hamas without Obama’s approval or knowledge is as ridiculous as the idea that an unbiased media would sweep this meeting and the 900 million dollar gift to a terrorist organization under the rug.

Not long after his crowning Obama traveled the Mid East giving apologetic, anti-Israeli speeches where he apologized for our country’s behavior, strongly suggested that Israel needed to make concessions, like to stop building settlements, and even said that America “could be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.” Of course how can anyone forget, or forgive, the national humiliation of having our nation’s President bow before the foreign king of Saudi Arabia?

Obama has also consistently ignored the Iranian people’s demonstrations against a corrupt and oppressive government and has failed to do anything about Iran’s continuing progress to build nuclear weapons. Israel is so upset with the Obama administration, and rightly so, that I would not be surprised if their inevitable first air strike to stop the Iranian nuclear program is on Washington D.C.

In our war on Islamic terrorism, the Obama administration has changed the terminology of our conflicts to “overseas contingency operations,” (OSO) apparently so no one will think that our military is actually fighting wars against Muslim fanatics, or trying to kill them, for now they’re just carrying out “operations” outside our borders. Likewise, the Islamic butchers’ horrendous acts of terrorism are now just ridiculously referred to as “man-caused disasters.” Tell that to the poor guy who was just walking down the street when the bomb goes off and he ends up laying over there, over there and over there. “You know old chap, this all could have all been avoided but… Oh… that… MAN!”

Then of course with all of this new terminology we couldn’t just go around calling terrorists; “terrorists.” So the Obama administration decided that these misguided souls were now to be called “enemy combatants”. But even that proved too harsh for Obama’s Justice Department who now list terrorists in their legalize as, now get this, “persons whom the President has the authority to detain.” I have to wonder how long it will be before all we can call these Islamic terrorists is “Buddy”? After all, on Obama’s watch, we must not insult our murderous Islamic enemies, or Obama’s fellow Muslims.

For the first time in years a President did not invite religious leaders to the White House on our National Day of Prayer, nor did he address a message to the nation like his predecessors. Obama explained this religious oversight in that he believes prayer is a personal and private matter. He also stated that he prays many times a day, but he didn’t mention anything about facing Mecca when he does. However, he did give a speech to honor the start of the Islamic Ramadan and then held a White House dinner for the followers of Islam on the last day of Ramadan. Apparently National days of prayer are to remain private and personal for Christians and Jews but lets all get together and Ramadan around the White House. Now, for the first time in our history, on September 25^th Muslims will be allowed to conduct all day prayers on Capital Hill. I don’t believe that it will be all that personal or private up on that hill either. As the Islamic website  announcing this day of prayer clearly proclaims, “Our Time Has Come.” Well it certainly has because if Obama is a Christian he’s doing a very convincing job in covering it up while looking more and more like a closet Muslim.

Although many now believe that the domestic terrorist William Ayes was the ghostwriter behind both of Obama’s books, it was nonetheless stated by Obama himself in those writings that his childhood mentor in Hawaii was a known Communist. Obama campaigned on the socialist promise to “redistribute the wealth” and he has been doing his utmost to fulfill that promise by labeling everything under the sun that he wants to control a “crisis.” That’s an old community organizer, socialist, Saul Alinsky trick to gain control in the guise of ‘saving the people.’ So besides throwing us head long into generational debt, since taking office Obama has moved this nation ever closer to a socialist state by taking over private industry, banks and setting up his own puppet government through the use of numerous un-vetted ‘czars’ who are answerable only to him. Obama has literally turned GM and Chrysler over to the unions, and established regulation on corporate salaries and the credit card bankers. He has set up a website so that “loyal citizens” can report their friends, family and neighbors for speaking out against Obama’s policies. How’s that for Big Brother? 

By the way, for those of you who do not think that the czars have much power, Van Jones, that Bush was responsible for 9-11, anti-American, racist “Green Jobs Czar” who was forced to resign in the middle of the night, had control of THIRTY BILLION of our taxpayers’ dollars to do with whatever he deemed right. When you understand that with that kind of cash Jones was answerable only to Obama, well then you’ll understand that’s some kind of power folks.

Yet still on Obama’s Marxist wish list is a mixture of one single payer national health care, a large doze of the Fairness Doctrine for our media to shut up Rush, Glenn and Fox News; a pound of Federal oversight and regulation of the Internet to play Big Brother, a full package of illegal alien amnesty to insure more Democratic votes, and a really big governmental catastrophe sized box of cap and trade legislation to control our nation’s energy sources and bankrupt every American home, all in the name of the Global Warming scam. Oh if only everyone would just stop breathing how nice the world would be! Now mix that all together, let it sit for eight years and… Челка! * You have yourself one Black Russian at the head of a gigantic, bureaucratic, socialist regime. By the way, the hangover is going to kill you, but if it gets to be too much just ask the VA for a copy of their death book.

Speaking of the cap and trade scheme, you know, I mean the one to save energy and to save The Planet, not the other one where all the big wigs just get rich. (wink, wink) One of my most favorite moments so far in the Obama administration was how within three days in office Obama sat down at his new desk and with one mighty stroke of his liberal avenging pen rescinded Bush’s decrees permitting the explorations of oil reserves within the United States. Then, and we should never forget this, the very next day your President had the gall to give a speech telling the rest of us how we must all sacrifice and work diligently to decrease our dependence on foreign oil. That was just before he and his entourage took off on a gas guzzling worldwide tour to apologize for us arrogant, selfish Americans. What a shinning, memorable moment in American political hypocrisy. 

All of us should also take special notice of Obama’s reaction and support of the socialist Honduran President Manuel Zelaya who was ousted by his own government as they faithfully followed the Honduran Constitution concerning presidential term limits. Zelaya had served his limit but just didn’t want to go home, so the good people of Honduras booted him out of their country. Obama and his Secretary of State Hillary vocally supported Zelaya in his attempts to re-enter Honduras and take back control while condemning the freedom loving people of Honduras for their lawful actions. Obama went so far as to say that the “coup” was “illegal.” The problem is that it wasn’t a coup but just the rule of Honduran law and it wasn’t illegal, but in fact was Constitutional. Don’t know about you, but it makes me wonder if Obama isn’t thinking about his own Presidential term limits and of ways to get around them?

Now almost everyone in the Nation knows the sordid reputation of Chicago politics from which Obama has graduated. But you voted for Obama anyway. So unfortunately Obama has now brought the seedy, strong-arm tactics of Chicago politics with him to D.C., if you have any questions how it works just ask his main enforcer, Rahm ‘Sleep With The Fishes’ Emanuel, if you dare. One current example of this politics of fear is the now on-going investigation of Humana Insurance. Humana had the audacity to send out a pamphlet to their insured customers explaining what they feel is wrong with Obama’s national health care and how they would lose Medicare benefits if it passes. But the administration will have none of that so Humana is now under investigation by our Federal government for, as the Liberal Dems put it, “lying” to their insured and using scare tactics to get these people to oppose national health care, i.e. Obama’s current pet crisis. I’m not a lawyer but since when is it the Federal government’s right to interfere with a private companies correspondence to its customers? How does this warrant a Federal investigation? Well this is simply old time Chicago politics, oppose us and pay a price. If Humana steps out of line again you can bet there will be an IRS audit in their future. 

Oh, I almost forgot Obama’s, “civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded," as our military. Won’t it be fun to watch those Brown Shirts marching up and down our neighborhood streets? They will be goose-stepping in a Mall near you about the same time that the Obama administration gets serious about gun control and abolishing the Second Amendment. Please don’t be foolish enough to believe that absolute gun control is not on Obama’s agenda, taking the guns out of the hands of the “rightwing extremists” is essential for the overthrow of our Republic. We should also remember that he wants to send every one to college, have a government takeover of all student loans, and mandate that everyone must do community service, such services will be specified by the Federal government, of course. 

Obama’s two books also displayed a racial bias that was more than evident by his attendance for twenty years in the radical, racist church of Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Although Obama denied ever hearing anything like Wright’s racists rants that were caught on video, which any clear thinking person knows was not possible, Obama’s own racism has been openly displayed in the few months he has held office. When was the last Presidential election where Black Panthers brazenly stood outside of polling locations and openly threatened voters? Why were these men arrested on Federal felony charges, then released while Obama’s own Attorney General Eric “Nation of Cowards” Holder refused to prosecute? Who can forget or defend Obama’s knee jerk reaction and accusations of the Cambridge police department of racial profiling and acting “stupidly”? Your man, who was going to unite us racially, is a racist himself, although few dare to admit it.

In Christopher Anderson’s new book, "Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage," Anderson relates how Obama and Bill Ayers were long-time, close personal friends and business associates. This flies in the face of Obama’s numerous lies about their limited relationship during the campaign. Obama: “He’s just a guy who lives in my neighborhood.” But the truth is that Ayers and Obama were very close and did collaborate on at least one of Obama’s books. In other words, Obama knew full well who and what Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, were but did not shrink with that knowledge from their close personal and business relationships. Obama also repeatedly lied to the American voters about this relationship and of his knowledge of the couple’s past crimes against our society. So none of the lawlessness, anarchy, murder or terror committed by his two close friends mattered to the man who wanted to be our President. Why didn’t that matter to more of us?

During the campaign Obama made much of his time as a community organizer and bragged about winning a case for ACORN in Chicago. He also often talked about his time as an instructor for ACORN. In a meeting with community organizing groups, including ACORN, Obama stated that he would be calling them all in to shape the agenda once he was elected. But now after the voter fraud, charges of embezzlement and the undercover pimp and prostitute videos Obama wants us all to believe that he has never even heard of ACORN. Community organizations? What’s that all about? Like his grandmother, Malley, Wright, and Van Jones, you can almost hear the “snap, crackle, and pop” as the tires roll over all of those nasty little ACORNS when Obama once again throws his embarrassments under the bus. 

In one unguarded moment at a fat cat gathering in San Francisco Obama made it clear how he really felt about the American people and most of you ignored it. He said, "You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them.” Then later, “And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Likewise Michelle actually stated that for the first time in her adult life she was proud of her country. In other words, since we citizens are her country, she was never proud of us, until that one moment. Yet you elected her husband and now she is your First Lady. Maybe someday she may be once again proud of her country, and you, maybe, someday.

Now as the criticism builds against Obama’s agenda and policies we can hear once again how Obama and his fellow politicians really feel about “We The People.” To them we are to be held in contempt as mobs, liars, fools, extremists, Nazis and racists. If only we were just smart, like them, and would just follow along everything would be just fine. After the Obamas made themselves quite clear on how they really felt about our Nation and its citizens, why didn’t you simply listen? The one good thing that has happened out of all of this is that it has finally awakened The Silent Majority. Only now they are simply known as The Angry Mob.

So this is what we have come to folks and we did it to ourselves. Try as he might to hide his, and Michelle’s, contempt for our country there was ample evidence all through the campaign that Obama did not love or respect America, as our President should. Now we have a President who travels the globe to apologize for everything we have stood for and accomplished. He alienates our allies and embraces our foes. He emphasizes our faults but ignores our virtues. He highlights our mistakes while forgetting to even mention our triumphs and victories, our humanity. He bows to foreign kings. But then, with his distorted version and otherwise obvious lack of knowledge of our glorious yet imperfect history, is it any wonder why he hates us so?

Here I haven’t even gotten into how Obama has weakened our national security and defense; I’ll save that for a latter post.

So in closing I will ask you “One More Time” to read something I wrote in October 2008 during the campaign called, “The Past Is Prologue.” In now knowing what this man has done and said so far in his Presidency, see if you can understand how a man’s past associations, words and actions is the light upon which will predict his future associations, words and actions. Perhaps it will help us from making the same mistake in our future. After all, Shakespeare was no fool; four hundred years ago he told us what to look for in determining a man’s heart and character.

In the recent campaign it was all right there to see, so why didn’t we?
