Bailouts And SSI

I've been rather busy lately so I haven't been able to write about a few things that have been on my mind. With your kind permission I will now take a bit of your time to get a couple of things off of my chest. Perhaps you may even agree with some of this, but then again, perhaps not.

First I would really like to know where all of that 'stealfromus' money has disappeared to since it has been three months since the bill was passed but as of May 13th only 3% has been spent! Wasn't this bill so quickly passed through Congress, without even being read, because it was so badly needed to boost our economy? So where is the money? With unemployment still going up every month where are all the jobs that 'our' government and this maybe legal president promised as a result of their generational enslavement?

Also I wrote a long time ago that this was way too much money being doled out to the bankers, brokers, corporate execs and other politicians not to have billions just disappear. Some of it has already gone into that great unknown and 'our' government doesn't seem to have a clue to where or how it vanished into this financial abyss! Throughout history many a good man or woman who had lived their lives following the straight and narrow have gone bad once a nice hunk of 'change' was laid out in front of them and no one was around to watch where it was spent. As we all know there are already plenty of people involved with this money grab who never worried much about that straight and narrow path in the first place. There are going to be a lot of scoundrels getting rich off of this 'stealfromus' money that the government will not be able to, or care to, account for. Sort of like financial collateral damage if you will. But if this was coming out of the politicians' pockets you can bet that they would make sure they would know where every dime went and who got it. Since it is coming from the US taxpayers' pockets the government regulation by Congress and Obama's White House will be exactly like the past liberal slipshod regulation on Fannie, Freddie and the already gone bailout money to banks buying up other banks and to corporate executive bonuses.

Now if the idea that just years or even months from now a bunch of scumbag thieves are going to be sunny themselves on their new yachts or playing high rollers in Vegas with money that is essentially coming from the sweat and tears of your grandchildren, and was meant to boost our economy doesn't rattle your fenders, than maybe this will toot your horn.

Just recently our government announced that Social Security and Medicare would be bankrupt by 2017. After bailing out banks, corporations and Wall Street just where is the plan for a taxpayers' bailout for Social Security and Medicare? If anyone deserves a bailout by the government, shouldn't that be the taxpayers themselves who have already paid into this fund and who are being forced to pay for all of the other bailouts? After Americans have been forced by the government to pay into Social Security throughout all of their productive years, and if Barry and his cohorts honestly believed that AIG "could not be allowed to fail," then they had better take a very long, hard look at the reasons why Social Security can't be allowed to fail!

Throw in the fact that the Social Security coffers would be full if Congress didn't act like it was their own little petty cash drawer and you are going to have some mighty irate senior citizens come 0700, 2017! And to make them even more hostile at that time of day they'll be missing lunch! Ever been run over by an angry old man on a four-wheel scooter Mr. Congressman? How about bopped on the top by Aunt Emma's cane? Ever had an aluminum walker shoved sideways up your… well you get the point.

Obama and his liberals thought that the angry taxpayers who turned out for the Tea Parties were rightwing extremists. Well let Social Security go belly up and we'll show them what rightwing extremism really means. There'll be some lefties and moderates marching too.

The idea that 'our' government can spend trillions bailing out everything and everybody except our own taxpayers and senior citizens who have spent a lifetime paying for this promised benefit and who are only just a percentage of the ones who actually survived long enough to collect on it, but are now told that their money just isn't there, should be enough to finally bring about that much talked about and badly needed second Revolution. Ironically everyone always believed that this second Revolution would be started by the young and restless. Remember the Sixties? Well now we're in our Sixties! Don't mess with us. Our patience starts and stops with our grandchildren. Now we're older, wiser and we don't have that much time left to waste it on dealing with you. Judgment will be swift and complete. We won't vote you out of office; we'll run you out of office!

So to all you politicians here's a little advice if that fateful day ever comes when those Social Security checks go ka-chunk instead of ka-ching!

When you look down Pennsylvania Avenue and see glimmering in the sunshine a gray haired army marching behind their silver walkers, GET READY.

When you hear the distant yet constantly growing electric hum of mechanized wheelchairs and scooters moving your way, GET SET.

When you gaze off at the horizon in the hope of seeing the end of a never-ending column of filled over their capacity, commandeered Casino Bingo busses, GO!

Go back into session and start bailing! You better bail like you are out in the middle of the Potomac in a wooden rowboat with three holes in the deck but you only have two thumbs and your zipper's stuck! Write that SSI/Medicare bailout bill just as fast your pudgy, money grubbing, little fingers can fly across that keyboard. Don't try to sneak in any gun bans or pork for you will not have time and we will not forgive. Don't even bother reading this bill either, if you can pass out trillions to whomever without reading the fine print, or any print at all for that matter, you can pass one for the taxpayers of this country in the same manner. Pass that bill with a unanimous vote because we who have spent an entire lifetime accruing this social security with our own labor and rightful earnings have not forgotten how you scoundrels have fixed it so that after just one short elected term in office you are set for life. I suggest to all elected officials to heed this warning. If the day ever comes when Social Security and Medicare goes bankrupt, you will all have a lot more to worry about than polls, political correctness, special interests groups or the next election.

God Bless America

Semper Fi,
Mike
