Remembering the past election campaign a friend recently pointed out the hypocrisy of the Democrats who had so viciously condemned Sarah Palin and the GOP for wasting $150,000.00 on the Governor's campaign wardrobe, which after the campaign was then donated to charity. Yet now Obama and his Democratic dominated Congress have passed the stealfromus bill that started out at 787 billion but grew to 838 billion by the time it passed through the Senate, an Omnibus bill for 410 billion and are pushing a budget that will spend almost FOUR TRILLION DOLLARS* in 2010. All of this in just two months of Democratic free spending psychosis of hard earned taxpayers' dollars compared to money donated to a GOP campaign makes $150,000.00 less than chump change. To this Congress $150,000.00 is mere pocket lint!

But because of this I do have to give one concession to Obama in that he promised "an end to the old ways of Washington." God bless him if he hasn't actually accomplished that. The old ways of Washington larceny was like riding a bike with training wheels through a sand trap compared to the hopped up, off the road, motorcycle racing lunacy and mayhem that Obama has changed it to. And for one reason or another we're all being forced to go along on this crazy ride.

We have nothing to fear… but our own government.

America, and for you Liberals, I mean all of us, we had better come to the quick realization that Obama is either in way over his head or he is one evil manipulator. Which ever he is we can forget about Iran's Ahmadinejad, or Chavez, Putin, bin Laden, that crazed North Korean midget, any and all of those harebrained African dictators, or whoever is in charge of China, because by far Barack Hussein Obama is the most dangerous man in the world. In less than sixty days in office while 'trying' to save banks and corporations from bankruptcy he has placed our entire nation on such perilous financial footings with his outrageous spending sprees that it is not inconceivable that our nation could very well be facing bankruptcy itself!

Economics 101 tells us not to overextend our finances. Every household in America knows this or has now learned it the hard way. When you get too far into debt any little unknown surprise expense or the smallest unexpected problem can shove you over the edge into the abyss of an economic nightmare. Whatever you want to call it; tapped out, busted, overextended or just plain broke, without funds you have few options in a time of need. Thanks to Obama and his madcap free spending Democratic Congress we Americans are now staring straight into that deep, dark financial abyss and praying that nothing more will happen to push our country over the edge. As they have already vastly overextended our nation with these financial bailouts, vulgar pork projects and soon the most expensive budget in history, we are left with few options in case of any further unseen emergencies except to print more money. We all know what that will lead to. What our government has done to us economically is pure insanity. And this during the campaign is what the Democrats so confidently declared as better than the Republican economic plan?

Likewise, this first sixty days is what liberals proclaimed as a return to diplomacy? After just two months Obama has already alienated the Israelis and insulted the Brits! Who's next on his hit list, Australia? Yet he reaches out to Russia, Iran, Gaza and Syria? With Obama at the helm we may finally get that much spoofed about war with Canada! Government financing of abortions in just our country was not enough for the liberal left so we now send money to other nations such as Mexico for abortions as well. With fewer foreigners, we'll have fewer foreigners who hate America, right?

Meanwhile through Russian President Dmitri A. Medvedev, Obama is talking deals with the KGB Madman Putin about missiles concerning the NATO alliance. Plus as Hamas is still lobbing missiles into Israel, he gives this terrorist organization that controls Gaza 900 million dollars and then tries to tell us that Hamas will not get any of that money. But that's like giving it to Cuba and telling us the Castro brothers won't see a dime. If Obama wants to rebuild something why not give 900 million dollars to Flint, Michigan, or 450 million each to Gary and Elkhart, Indiana? Or how about my old home town in Illinois, the Quad Cities, once a major industrial area that has been in decline since the eighties like thousands of other American cities? Instead Obama chooses to finance Hamas in their war with our ally Israel.

Obama tells our enemies his plans for troop strengths and movements to the point of giving them the dates on which he will act. His military plans include paying off 'moderate' Taliban terrorists in Afghanistan not to rage war against us! Lets see now, so religious fanatics will forget that they hate us and that Mohammad has told them that all infidels must convert or die, they will now trade their religion, suicidal beliefs of martyrdom and their eternal abuse of virgins in for cash? Obama doesn't seem to grasp the idea that he is dealing with Jihadists not desperate CEO's. Oh don't get me wrong, these 'moderates' will take the cash and make all the false promises we want to hear as Obama finances their war against us.

Earlier Obama had declared that the Islamic terrorists that we are fighting would no longer be called "enemy combatants." Now this administration has declared that the "The War On Terror" no longer exists as we are now conducting "Overseas Contingency Operations." See, like I said in an earlier article, this administration will not use the term "war" even when that is the correct definition. Likewise the Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano now states that terrorism is not terrorism but rather it is simply "man caused disasters!" So according to this administration instead of fighting Islamic terrorists in a worldwide war to stop terrorists' acts, what our brave Warriors are now doing is conducting limited "overseas operations" against an unmentionable bogeymen to stop "man caused disasters." This is the quintessence of madness. Liberals insisting that their Utopia has arrived simply by appeasement of our enemies and redefining the dangers in the world around us. They just may get us all killed. Napolitano explains the use of this new term as a way to "… move away from the politics of fear." But the only thing that Napolitano and this administration are moving away from is reality.

Domestically there is still the illegal immigration problem only now we have even more people getting killed on our Mexican border and yet our 'new' government hasn't so much as said or done didly squat about it. Perhaps Obama figures that if he ignores the border trouble it will just go away, like Richardson who took his troubles back to New Mexico. Obama has his Attorney General call us ' a nation of cowards' and then tells us that they will release Gitmo terrorists to come live in our own country. Now add in the across the board tax increases on our energy sources, all of that bible/gun clutching kind of rhetoric, tack on some twenty years of race baiting sermonizing and mix in a for at least now forgotten plan in making our wounded Veterans pay for their own treatment and I have this strange feeling that this maybe legal president doesn't like us very much! That includes all of you liberals who voted for him. See we do have something in common!

It has been one broken campaign promise after another, which doesn't really surprise me except for the fact that very few in the media have called him on it and the public still gives him a ridiculously high approval rating? Imagine if McCain had won this election and he had conducted business like Obama in his first sixty days. The liberals and their press would be insisting that The Old Man had lost his mind! Honeymoon or not they would demand that for the good of the country McCain must be impeached and institutionalized! Obama promised transparency, that every bill he signs would be on the Internet for at least five days for Americans to read before he signed it. Instead the American people have yet to see one of his unsigned bills for five minutes let alone five days, and now Congress isn't even getting a chance to read them! He has repeatedly insisted that it is "It is time for all Americans to make sacrifices… to tighten our belts." Then he parties in the White House every Wednesday night, jets around the country at the taxpayers' expense to campaign for his big money spending bills and budget, then does a guest spot on Leno. Well Americans have been tightening our belts now for months, when is Congress and Obama going to do the same!

Just what is it going to take to wake up the Obamaites to understand that Obama is not the promised Messiah but is just another fast talking politician? Obama swore that he would end earmarks and pork laden Congressional legislation yet the stealfromus bill was a complete oinker and the very next bill was 410 billion dollars loaded down with earmarks. The day after he signed it he stepped in front of the microphones to read off his Teleprompters his new definition of earmarks and a lame excuse that this bill was a holdover from Bush. Holdover or not, behind closed doors he signed a bill with almost 9000 publicly admitted earmarks. I'd hide when I signed that stinker too! So with his name on it he is now responsible for it no matter whom he tries to blame. When Obama was redefining the meaning of earmarks, did anyone else flashback to that ridiculous Clinton redefinition of the word 'it'?

"All future earmarks?" But Barry I thought you said that you would put an end to earmarks? Oh and by the way, according to the LA Times, earmarks and the public's seemingly 'new found' concern for these earmarks is of course due to those corrupt Republicans. Besides, now that Obama is in office, the LA Times is sure to make the reader aware those nasty earmarks don't really cost us taxpayers that much anyway. Silly American taxpayers, what are we complaining about?

Uh huh, like we've haven't been hearing about wasteful government spending for decades. Now that's crazy!

In the last two weeks Wall Street has started to come back. Last month home sales increased in a pleasant surprise that shocked most analysts, and orders for renewable goods have bounced back. All of this while most of the money that Obama's Congress said was needed has yet to reach the American public where it was supposed to boost our economy. The American people, as always, are the ones who will fix our economic woes, not government. What we needed most was money in our pockets and the government to get out of the way, not to take control. With the insane spending that Obama's Congress is authorizing it will only make it tougher on The People to come back because of the huge dept that Congress has now laid upon our backs. And it may get worse as Congress seems bent on repeating the same mistakes it has made in the past. Recently Stephen 'Doc D' Davidson, a Corpsman from the 1/1 Marines, made this observation in an e-mail referring to Clinton's demands that Fannie and Freddie make unstable loans to unqualified mortgage seekers:

"I see where Obama is going to force the banks who took stimulus money to loan money to small businesses.  Now one of you smart guys correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this what got us into trouble with the housing market on the first go around.  Statistically, most small businesses fail.  Now if I was a crook, I'd be lining up to "borrow" this money and then let my business "fail" and vamoose with the money."

Well Doc, thank God you're not a crook, because then you'd probably be a politician.
