Fellow citizens, I don't care if you consider yourself a Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Independent, a Communist or an anarchist. Good for you if you are a conservative, liberal, right wing, left wing, somewhere in the middle wing or just a good old fashion nihilist. It doesn't matter to me if you follow the teachings of the Old Testament, Jesus Christ, Buddha, Mohammad, the Dahlia Lama, Reverend Jim, the commands of a dog named Moe, if you are an ardent Darwinist, or even if you just think that this whole life thingy here on this small planet happened because at one point something went, "Poof." Whether you are rich or poor or somewhere in the middle, it means nothing to me on this point. I don't care what you do for a living. It matters not how much education you ain't got. None of this matters at all because at one time or another in the last sixty days you have had to shaken your head and wondered if this world could get any more insane! Even though we will not always agree with what is crazy and what makes sense, there is so much waste, mayhem and underhanded tomfoolery all happening at once while we are getting so many mixed messages that it is enough to drive anyone loony.

For example, you want crazy, analyze this. We live in a nation where an eighteen-year-old woman can have an abortion, but as a fifty-nine year old male I can't drive down the street without a seatbelt. The young woman will not be stopped or questioned. But I will be stopped, questioned, fined and if belligerent arrested! She will be told that it is okay to end a life, while I am told that I must wear a seat belt just in case my life may come into danger. So with seatbelts it is life that our governments say they are concerned about but with abortion or stem cells … well, not so much. Furthermore we are told that our children are most precious to us yet millions of our children are permitted to ride buses run by governments everyday without seatbelts. The same governments that run these buses insist they are collecting revenue from you for your own safety if you don't wear a seatbelt. Crazy, naw… I'm not crazy, yet. But here are a few things that are making me go nuts.

How's The Weather Out There?

Attention Please: Global Warming will soon be known as the biggest public scam since P.T. Barnum supposedly coined the phrase, "There's a sucker born every minute." What few people don't know is that this quote ends with, "… and two to take 'em." For a long time now more and more scientists have been universally exposing this global warming theory for the fraud that it is. The amazing part of this mass hysteria is that it was after all only a theory to begin with and that it never advanced anywhere near a proven thesis! Well except in the mind of that tool Al Gore. Yet due to an unfettered forest of liberal whackos, a floundering sea of save nature above humanity environmentalists and a whole undisturbed swampland of dimwitted Democrats it has already cost taxpayers billions of dollars in just trying to figure out how the puny, insignificant human race effects the mighty planet Earth. Carbon footprints my patoot! We were the suckers while Gore and his idiots were the scammers. When it is finally over we would be completely justified to tar and feather them, with live birds, and throw them all into the ocean off the coast of Pelosi's Big Sur!

It is now being proven, that is spelled p-r-o-v-e-n, proven, by scientists around the world that our planet is not in a warming cycle and by all evidence has actually been in a cooling cycle since 2001! The last two consecutive extended winters of world wide low temperatures and record snow fall have had much to do with the cooling off of the 'its too hot for the earth and its all our fault' alarmists.

With our government spending billions on such idiocy as to test the effects on our atmosphere of cows and earthworms passing gas we have been paying higher prices for energy and relying on foreign oil when we have more than we need within our own borders! All of this false global warming hype may have sent me bouncing around the room but here is what should send all of us over the edge to the dark side of insanity. While it has already cost us billions it will cost us even more in the future! When this GW theory is finally laid to rest we will not read about its demise in bold front page headlines. Instead it will slowly slip away to be forgotten. You know, like Boy George. The only time we will be reminded of it is when someone who was involved in this scam goes to jail. You know, like Boy George.

But our present administration and Congress have already made it clear that Global Warming is one of their top priorities. It is after all another crisis to be taken advantage of, even if it is a bogus crisis. Taxes are being raised on all of our present energy sources in an attempt to help pay for this administration's and our liberal Congress' lack of holding on to the taxpayers' hard earned bucks and secondly in an attempt to stop us from using so much of this energy which they have stated is causing global warming. Research, development, facilities and exploration of our current energy sources have been curtailed, or stopped all together, because of governmental concerns for our environment and the effects of using such energy sources on global warming. This will ultimately lead to a shortage, real or not, which will result in all of us paying even more for energy.

Unless they are rushing through a 787 billion dollar stealfromus bill in the middle of the night, we all know how slow the government reacts to change or admits that they have made a boo-boo. So it will take years, perhaps decades before they will relax their environmental policies, if at all. I probably won't live to see that happen! Thus even though global warming will have been discounted as false, our government will continue to pursue its egotistical agenda of saving the planet resulting in billions of dollars of unjustified costs to US citizens. By the time Congress and some future administration finally come to their senses over global warming the total cost of this scam will make Madoff's take of sixty-five billion in his Ponzi scheme look like petty larceny!

When all is said and done the only four things I have learned by this global warming scam is that Barnum did not coin the 'sucker' phrase, as it was only attributed to him by a reporter, but was really coined by perhaps any three other gents of dubious character. Second, that reporters didn't care anymore about facts back in Barnum's time than they do now. Third, that whoever came up with the sucker quote was right, and fourth, that earthworms fart.

The War On Terrorism

Whoops! We're not supposed to call it that anymore. Critics explain that we cannot declare war on terrorism because terrorism is an action, or a means to an end result, so it is therefore not a tangible entity. They ask how can you declare a war on a course of action or a means? They say that terrorism is a philosophy or an idea. I see their point to a point, but then what was Nazism if not an idea or a philosophy? What is Communism? Or why have there never been any such debates and criticisms about our War On Poverty, War on Drugs, or our War on Crime? Nobody has said that the names of these wars were incorrect. If we were to just add Islamic to the terrorism making it a war on Islamic terrorism everything becomes clear. But hey, we can't do that. It would offend Islam.

We're not supposed to call the murdering scum that we are fighting 'enemy combatants' anymore either. That's fine. I've never heard anyone in the military below a Lt. Colonel call them that anyway, and then it had to be in a press release. In these current conflicts, 'enemy combatant' was a politically correct term used by the Geneva Convention, lawyers and politicians to describe those who are trying to kill us. But Obama has put an end to the use of 'enemy combatants' in our present conflicts. Unlike our political leaders, our shining One Percent who are the brave Heroes that are actually fighting these Islamic terrorists don't have any problems with coming up with suitable monikers for our foes. Of course they never have in past wars either. These names are not very nice so they definitely are not PC but they work just fine. Today our Islamic enemies are mostly called, 'Hadjies' by the men and women on the front line. Out there on point you don't care if you are politically correct, just that you and your countrymen are the ones who walk away after the bullets stop flying. You also don't have to worry about offending anyone as they are already trying to kill you.

But what is driving me crazy is the fact that even seven years after 9-11 the majority of our country has yet to grasp the idea that the United States is really at war, let alone that it is a total war with our lives and freedoms hanging in the balance. When Bush, and Congress, sent our military to fight and die in Afghanistan and Iraq they refused to call it war, instead it was Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Cute. So politically speaking, in the new era of PC, war is not to be officially mentioned in either the last administration or the present one. Sadly the need to be PC most probably will not change in the future either. The term war only seems to be mentioned by those who are fighting it, their families, or the protesters and the media who use the word 'war' to criticize America, or the former Republican administration.

Likewise when it comes to our foe, we dare not call a spade a spade, even though those we are fighting are obviously Islamic terrorists, officially they are not to be called such. In our insanely PC society today we dare not even use the phrase, calling a spade a spade, as some may deem it an ethnic slur, even though this phrase originated long before it had any racial overtones. Being unable to even use such a phrase helps to understand why we can't come to terms with whom we are fighting, for as mentioned, we dare not upset anyone! Even those who have vowed to kill or enslave us! PC'ers won't allow us to call these cowardly murderers, enemy combatants, Muslim extremists, criminals, religious fanatics or Islamic terrorists. So we find ourselves much like those superstitious ancient societies who banned speaking the name of their bogeymen in fear that the mere utterance of those names would bring forth the wrath of the evil ones! It is lunacy.

It is time to set up rubber rooms for our 'leaders' when these Islamic terrorists are not to be called enemy combatants as prescribed by the Geneva Convention, but our Supreme Court ruled three years ago that when captured they were to be treated as legitimate prisoners of war under the rules of the Geneva Convention! Now our courts are saying that these Islamic terrorists must be charged as common criminals and granted the same rights as an American citizen in our courts. So when captured we accord them the same rights as legitimate POW's but cannot try them under military tribunals only like civilian criminals in our criminal courts? It is enough to drive any sane person nuts when you realize that by the time the lawyers, judges, liberal civil rights do-gooders and our flip-flopping politicians finally figure out what to even call our enemy, if we are conducting wars or simply operations, what we are to do with any of them once they are captured, and how, why, where and by whom will they be judged, we will all be under Sharia Law, facing East to pray, or beheaded.

U.S. Veterans Take A Walk!

A few weeks ago it was reported that two liberal, Carter appointed, California judges… whoa… think about that description for a minute! It's too bad we aren't playing baseball because three strikes and these clowns would be OUT! Anyway these judges ruled that because of overcrowding in the California prisons, which had an occupancy rate of 180%, that the state would have to release some of the prisoners even though they had not served their time. The judges believed that this overcrowding was violating the prisoners' civil rights and that the state could not maintain the free health care that these criminals so justly deserved. It was decided that around 65,000 prisoners would be granted an early release.

I watched MSNBC's liberal pixy Rachel Maddow report this free the cons story and was amazed when she gave that cute little tilt of her head and smiled as she stated, 'The good news is that 65,000 prisoners will soon be released, the bad news is that this still leaves the California prisons overcrowded at 120% occupancy."

About all I can add to that, Sweetheart, is that I hope that all of those poor, mistreated, early released convicts move in next door to you.

Despite what you may have heard from liberal critics the prisoners at Gitmo were also given outstanding free health care paid for by the American taxpayers. Woe is me to the unfortunate Marine guard who found a Hadjie dead from a perforated ulcer! These criminals were also fed special diets following their customs and religion. They may not have been free to bomb, terrorize or kill us like they wanted but when it came to health care, food and recreation these Hadjies never had it so good. Of course this care and good food did not stop the constant attacks on the Marine guards that averaged three a day.

Now here's the really crazy part. Contrast the free health care benefits of the Gitmo Hadjies and the California cons, which are paid for by US taxpayers, to what Obama presented on Monday, March 16, to the leaders of our Veterans' Organizations. Obama now wants a Veteran's personal insurance company to pay the Veteran's Administration for the health care that is needed for treatment of service related injuries! Obama also wants the disabled by their service to our country Veterans to co-pay for the treatment of wounds due to military service. He feels that he can recoup 548 million dollars with this plan, or about the cost of twenty G5 cross country flights by Pelosi.

In other words while talking about universal health care for every American he now wants our Military to pay the very government organization, the VA, that was set up to provide Veterans' health care for honorable, military services rendered! This would be detrimental not only to the Veteran being treated but to his entire family as the cost of the treatment for wounds received in the service of our country would soon deplete the personal insurance leaving no health care benefits for the Veteran's spouse and children. So what happens when the spouse and children also need health care? Well they become part of the welfare state and must receive health care from the state, paid for by taxpayers. Since there are more Veterans' spouses and children than there are Veterans, who would now be getting public aid, that sort of wipes out any and all savings that President Blankethead is trying to gain. The guy just doesn't think very far ahead does he. I have a suggestion for him, if you want to start saving money, stop sending 900 million dollars to terrorist organizations like Hamas in Gaza, so loosely disguised as the once liberally condemned practice of nation building!

Another big problem that this plan would cause the Veteran is in what insurance company would dare to cover the Veteran knowing the expense that may be involved. The Veteran would also be faced with enormous disproportionate premiums compared to the rest of US society, all because he served his country. Likewise companies unwilling to add his insurance responsibilities to their group plans would discriminate against the Veteran when they were hiring. Man, I'll tell you, with this idiotic and revenge filled health plan for our wounded Veterans you have to wonder if some sailor didn't once drop little Barry on his head way back yonder in Hawaii?

Now I'll have to check my military records but I am pretty darn sure that I was a member of the United States' Marine Corps, not the Farmer's Insurance Militia. I am also crystal clear in my memory that it was the United States that sent me to Vietnam and my son to Afghanistan not Prudential Life. As it is part of the enlistment contracts in all our Armed Forces that health care will be provided during time in service and extended for service related injuries it says volumes about the character of the maybe legal president as he tries to renege on this contract during a time of war.

Lets make this clear right now, so that we will have no further misunderstandings in the next four years. Obama doesn't just dislike the military and those who serve, he doesn't even just hate us, he despises us and everything we fought for and believe in. Get used to it. We should also understand that a large, too large in my opinion, portion of our society will agree with Obama's new health care plan for our wounded Veterans. The One Percent of our country who steps forward to serve in our Armed Forces deserve better than this.

In the past few weeks Obama has stood in front of Marines at Camp LeJeune and told them:
"Our nation owes a great debt to the combat warriors and their families."

Michelle Obama stated to solders at Ft. Bragg:
"The nation owes not only gratitude but tangible assistance to the nation's military and their families, and I'll make that a focus of my time in the White House."

But after throwing billions of dollars out the window Obama now wants to recoup his losses by billing our military wounded. The man has no sense of decency or honor. The military received a 2.9% pay increase when the average inflation rate for 2008 was 3.85. After long months of sacrifice and seperations while fighting two wars our military and their families lost ground financially. With 4.19 billion dollars in the stealfromus bill for neighborhood development, read ACORN, 900 million for Hamas, now Obama wants to 'save' 548 million by making wounded Veterans pay for their treatment. Yet Michelle and Barry say they are friends of the military, this is insanity in full flight.

If this insurance scam gets passed and the American people are not outraged at what our country has done to its Veterans then my knee jerk reaction is to suggest that our military all just drop their weapons and come on home. Every man for himself as they say. Let Obama and Congress walk point and then pay to learn how to walk on one leg.

But then, of course, our Warriors would not do that, they have too much Honor.
