I have a friend who when things start to get too silly or out of hand brings the shenanigans to an abrupt halt by firmly stating in a authoritative, staccato manner, "Stop it!" It is a tried and proven method learned the hard way, from raising children. After witnessing the barely first two months of the new President's administration I want to scream, "STOP IT!" in the faint hope that I could likewise somehow bring this foolhardy political eccentricity to an abrupt end.

Here are a few reasons why.

Stop telling us how smart Obama is. The vast majority of our population can produce our birth certificates within a few days, that is, if we don't already have them on hand. This is true even in spite of the fact that we went to public schools. But Obama has had over a year since his US birthright was brought into question and he still has yet to produce an actual birth certificate! Even with a very large campaign staff acting upon his every whim and with thousands of lawyers at his command, all while being funded with over 600 million contribution bucks, and with dozens of lawsuits brought forth by US citizens. Yet Obama still refuses to prove where he was born! This act alone states volumes of how much the new President respects our Constitution and the people of this country. Oh, and yes it does matter. If he and his posse where really all that smart why didn't they have his birth certificate on hand when he started his political career? Didn't any of them ever imagine that it just might come in handy someday? Why would anyone start their administration with this doubt hanging over their head if it was so easy to prove that he is indeed an American citizen by birth?

Likewise where are his school transcripts, his Columbia thesis? I'm not from Missouri but I believe that if you are going to run around telling us that your Messiah is a genius then how about showing some proof? There are a lot of people who get degrees who are not too smart; Reid, Pelosi and Dodd are a few others, which automatically come to mind. But then why just single these people out, as just about the whole of our government could actually be included. It also seems that the more prestigious their Alma mater the dumber these elected officials are when it comes to common sense. So where is the written paper that was required of Obama to become the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review? Is he ashamed of it? Except for a poem written while attending Occidental College about angry, grape eating apes, where is his homework, his grades, his test scores? Perhaps they are locked up with John Kerry's authentic military records and discharge papers?

Stop comparing Obama to Lincoln! Old Abe was perhaps the greatest President we have ever had, what on earth has Obama done so far to warrant any such vaulted comparison? What, he took a train ride, yeah well so have I. So what? Have we forgotten so much of our nation's history that we don't even remember that Lincoln was a Republican? Okay so in a round about way, and I mean a really round about way, Obama is from Illinois. But with his strong arm henchman Chief of Staff Emmanuel, stealing the hard earned pay not just from us but now from our descendants, his hijacking of the US Census to the White House for dubious political reasons, surrounding himself with tax evaders in his cabinet, bootlegging our existing energy sources with false promises of alternatives that are not yet viable, and his associations with mugs like Ayers and Rezko, who now sits in a federal pen, being from the politically corrupt city of Chicago one would be more astute by comparing Obama to Al Capone!

When Obama's run is over the only comparison with Lincoln may be that Obama also led us into a Civil War. Only this one will be a war between the classes of the so-called 'rich' against the poor, which seems to be the intent of Obama's administration and his Democratic/Socialist goons. With the left wing propaganda sowing its seeds of class hatred I wonder how far off the horizon is our Kristallnacht?

Stop campaigning; Obama, you won the election, now lead. All Obama has done so far, including that so-called State Of The Union address is to continue a series of campaign speeches. Obama is like one of those college football coaches who are great recruiters but at game time they can't coach worth a lick. Once the recruiting campaign is over and he has this stable of gifted athletes he's finished because he can still never win the big game. There was absolutely no need to run around the country to gather the unemployed around him, while wasting taxpayers' dollars, except to talk up support for that bogus stealfromus plan. Obama and the Democrats can also stop the tired excuses of how he inherited this financial mess and of blaming the last administration. Save it for the next campaign trail, the way things have started you're going to need it. As it is Bush may now be back at the ranch but the same infamous majority of shady characters that created this mess are still in DC, and that would include the former Senator Obama.

While he's at it Obama needs to stop going to military bases, especially on Fridays. Those Marines who had to sit through another one of his campaign speeches had been looking forward to taking off for a 48-hour liberty until he showed up. Not to mention the fact that besides all of their other normal duties and training they had to go through at least three dress inspections before this only maybe legal CIC came to call. But since Obama was at LeJeune it would have been nice if he had asked someone to give him a little instruction on how to properly return a salute. Any Marine could have showed him how. Right now he looks like he has arthritis. A Marine would have told him that unless he is at a funeral that salute is supposed to be smart, snap that puppy off! I also can't wait until Obama bangs his head getting aboard the Marine chopper, as every President has. Still I will bet that Letterman won't show the clip, Leno might, but Letterman won't.

One thing Obama should keep in mind is that most of the military, past and present, didn't vote for him, i.e. he is not well liked by those of us who wear or once wore the uniform. This will be especially true among our active duty military once they learn that in Obama's new bulging 'budget' he has allowed only a 2.9% pay increase for them, which was already in place by law. A pay increase that doesn't even match the inflation rate! This is hardly a just reward for all of their sacrifices, laying their lives on the line for us and for winning another war. Especially when you consider that Congress has just given themselves a raise of just under five grand a year and has given US foreign officers, or diplomats an 18% increase in their pay. All of that money being tossed around so casually and the average US GI will be lucky to see about twenty extra bucks a month. It just goes to show that for Liberals it pays more to talk than to walk the walk.

While the Democrats are at it they can stop hitting us over the head with this silly private plane nonsense. Almost every member of Congress and other top US officials use private aircraft at our expense. But even Obama mentioned this foolishness in his speech before Congress. This tired rhetoric is meant only to infuriate 'The Masses' against people of wealth. I have to wonder how long it will be before being wealthy in this country will be a crime, well that is unless you are a member of Congress, or the President. When many Americans have never even been on an airplane and the vast majority who have never have flown in First Class it is a pathetic attempt to instill hatred towards those in this country who through hard work, dedication and extended educations, have reached a certain status in the economic and corporate worlds. Not all CEO's are crooks. Are we also supposed to now hate all of our fellow American citizens who have a pilot's license and or own their own planes? What about all those terrible people who zip around up yonder in those blasted helicopters? Are we supposed to hate them too?

How can there not be anyone listening to this discreditable ploy who does not see the irony of a man who jets around in the ultimate private plane, Air Force One, and then condemns others for flying in smaller private aircraft? Doesn't anyone else remember Obama's super-duper private airliner with that arrogant Obama emblem plastered on the tail that he used during his presidential campaign? What utter lunacy. As if it has been the use of these private planes by corporate big wigs that undermined the mortgage industry, which led us into this economic crisis, not the workings of an inept, "get your kick-backs here!" regulatory system by Congress when dealing with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac! It is the old slight of hand trick as we are told to cast our gaze, and our anger, at the private planers while Barack, Barney, Dodd, et all slip out the back door with their Fannie and Freddie campaign fund donations. As you can see by the number of people who have been hoodwinked, it really is a great trick.

Stop telling our enemies our military plans and troops' strength! This goes for all politicians. When Obama announced that he would withdraw a number of troops from Iraq and stated how many he is going to leave behind he only did this for political reasons and to appease his Liberal Left. At this time he didn't have to be so specific on the number of troops to be withdrawn or the number that would remain. This information helps only the terrorists and Obama. He didn't once consider the strategic complications of such an announcement or the peril he has invited upon those few he leaves behind. He has now announced to our enemies when and how many they will have to face on a given date. Did he not think for a moment that these Islamic terrorists are now arming themselves and waiting to attack once our troops have been reduced to a number that is more to their liking? In doing so he appeased no one as can be seen by the criticism of his announced less than the complete withdrawal as not enough for Crazy Nancy, Mad Harry and Traitor John. By the way, Obama might just want to thank the previous administration for sticking to their guns with 'The Serge.' If G.W. had listened to Obama's three new critics Iraq would not be as stable as it is now so he still wouldn't be able to withdraw anyone. As for the Liberal Left, when this war is over don't you dare claim this victory for Obama or your members in Congress. Victory in Iraq has been won despite the fact that all of you had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the finish line. But we all already know how they will falsely claim this victory as their own. That is just their nature.

Stop bailing everybody out! Especially AIG. We have been told by both Bush and Obama that AIG is just too big to fail, but three bailouts to this corporation in less than six months totaling 163 billion dollars! Have we lost our minds? Split that total up between every man, woman and child in America and somehow we will all find a way to get by without AIG! Besides it sure doesn't look like this corporation is too big to fail to me! It looks to me like they are more than able to fail, and that they can't wait to get it over with!

Tell me something. Was Alexander The Great's Empire too big to fail, the Roman Empire too big to fail? What about that once all encompassing British Empire, was it too big to fail? You want big, how about the Soviet Union? Wasn't that too big to fail? Where is US Steel today? Where are all those once irreplaceable US railroad giants that this nation could not survive without? The new President has warned us that if we don't do what he wants then the United States will fail, and may never recover. Planets and stars aren't too big to fail and someday our own planet and Sun will join those that have ceased to exist. But by golly not AIG! When our Earth explodes AIG will be left out there floating through space all alone but apparently still doing business.

AIG isn't too big to fail and neither are the rest of these wayward banks and corporations. An important life lesson to learn is that everything is temporary. In a free enterprise system businesses flourish and fail like humans breathe in and breathe out. It is the natural way of things. When a gap is created in the free enterprise system of supply and demand there is always someone who rushes in to fill that void and for a while become a success until someday they too will vanish only to be replaced by someone else. When a bank goes under a new group of investors will form a new bank to fill that void. It happens all of the time. Darwin worshiping Liberals should know all about natural selection and the survival of the fittest. By the way, the money that these banks and corporations no longer have is not "lost." It is just in someone else's pocket so it will turn up again.

These banks and corporations are not being 'saved' by our government to help us or our economy. These bailouts are simply hostile takeovers by a government bent on nationalizing everything on their way to Socialism. The sooner we Americans come to understand this the sooner we can stop it.

Stop using words and phrases when you do not know their meaning. As an example Obama's budget is titled:

"A New Era Of Responsibility: Renewing America's Promise."

"Budget"

First this is not a 'budget' but just another liberal, leftist spending bill and tax increase. Call it what it is. It includes a 648 billion dollar energy tax increase affecting everyone who uses gas, electricity, or any other known source of energy.  In other words it will cost a small bounty for everyone who is still breathing. While not raising the income tax on anyone making less than $200,000.00, or $250,000.00 per couple, they have keenly dipped deep into the pockets of every American in the backhanded way of increasing taxes on energy and the increasing costs of consumer products that will be passed on by the now heavily tax corporations and service companies. You don't really think that businesses and banks are just going to eat this higher tax do you? All of it will be passed on to the rest of us. This is Reagan's "Trickle Down Theory" in reverse. Thanks Obama, great plan.

With so much money to be made by our 'new' government it is also essential to keep the energy supplies limited. So is it any wonder why Obama has stopped cold any and all oil exploration within our borders and off our coastlines? Can you see now why there are no new nuclear plants or oil refineries in the planning stages or why he has sworn that he will bankrupt anyone who dares to build a new coal processing plant? All of these energy stoppages are being conveniently masked under the cover of environmental concerns. But what we must understand is that Socialists don't give a damn about their fellow human beings let alone honestly giving a hoot about animals, plant life or the planet. Socialism is the only all important goal. All of these concerns about the environment, animal rights and their survival or people living in poverty are only used to reach that goal. Once that goal is achieved we will all quickly learn just how little our Socialist leaders care about anything but maintaining the State and their own privileged lifestyles.

Obama talks of alternative fuel and energy. But where are the technology and the means for the average American to use or even purchase such appliances, cars and energy? As yet his alternative energy schemes do not exist for mass consumption and so therein lays the dilemma for the American people and the profit for this Socialist Congress. Obama and his Crew should have to wear masks! In a time of ever growing skepticism about the falsehood of Global warming, including a new report on how the earth has actually been cooling off for the past twenty years, Obama and the Dims are making yet another go at wringing out another buck from our fears. This 'budget' includes his ploy of buying carbon footprints? What a racket, selling something you can't even see to stop a warming trend that does not exist! Somewhere in the deepest, darkest recesses of Hell Scarface is chuckling.

"Responsibility"

If it is some comparison to Abe Lincoln that the Left is looking for they can have this. Obama and this Congress are actually using the word "responsibility!" Roll over Honest Abe because that is one lie that "belongs to the ages."

In the first two months of his administration Obama and his Democratic Congress have quickly changed their message of 'Hope' to tell us that it is time to hit the panic button! Going so far as to say if we do not act now and go along with their larceny in the stealfromus plan that all will be lost and that our nation's economy may 'never recover.' In truth they are just following Emmanuel's theory of never letting a crisis go to waste as they plunge our nation into an overwhelming debt while railroading us into a socialist state, which is after all their ultimate goal. The results have been a fiscal irresponsibility that will never be equaled. Or at least we can only hope that our descendants will never see the likes of this fanatical spending spree ever again. Obama and his Congress have thrown money just about everywhere except where it is needed the most, back in the pockets of America's taxpayers! Wall Street, our economic barometer has been so unimpressed by the Obama administration's shotgun spending efforts that since the Chosen One's inauguration it has steadily fallen to its lowest point in twelve years on March 3rd with the Dow finishing below 7000 for the first time since 1997.

After selling our nation, our children and our grandchildren into generational governmental servitude with earmarks, bailouts, tax increases, expanding existing government agencies while creating needless new ones, along with full blown pork laden thievery only an arrogant bunch of swine would dare to utter the word responsibility let alone boldly print it on the cover of a million budget jackets! The use of this word on their budget cover is a mockery aimed at all of us like some Ivy League college prank dreamt up by the arrogant, not as smart as they think they are frat kids in the dorm to see if the rest of us get the inside joke. After such obscene, freewheeling spending by Obama and his Congress, using that word on this cover at this time is a slap in the face to every intelligent American who has not fallen under Obama's spell.

But then when dealing with Obama why should the lack of any responsibility come as a surprise to us? His father certainly set no such example when he deserted Obama and his mother to go back to Kenya. Likewise young Obama was sent packing to his grandparents in Hawaii by his stepfather and mother. At such an early age the total lack of responsibility displayed by his parental caretakers concerning his well-being must have had a lasting, negative impact. During the presidential campaign questions raised about his relationships with Davis, Ayers, Rezko, Wright, Pfleger, Farrakhan, Khalidi, Odinga and ACORN were always excused by Obama. In Obama's mind none of them were to be held responsible for their communist beliefs, terrorist acts, lies, criminal actions, racial slurs, corruption or anti-American leanings. Likewise Obama saw no irresponsibility within himself by his associations, friendships and business dealings with any of these misfits. When Obama's adoring, biased media and his fawning fans also made excuses for him and his convoluted band of anti-social oddballs, it only reinforced Obama's flawed judgment that none of them were responsible for any wrong doing. But even with the mainstream media largely ignoring or excusing these contaminated relationships they were still well known. Yet Obama was rewarded for his deviate, anti-American behavior and elected anyway, once again reinforcing his unsound belief that he was not acting irresponsibly. So why on earth should we expect anything even resembling a responsibility toward the people of our nation or our Constitution from Obama now?

Likewise the total irresponsibility displayed by members of this Congress throughout the Clinton and Bush administrations was a major cause of this financial crisis. This congressional irresponsibility has now flooded over into the Obama administration to grow into the massive monster of trillions of dollars in deficit spending that we witness today and that we will have to repay for a million tomorrows. Obama and this Congress have clearly shown that they have little time or inclination for acting responsibly. Remember that just days ago they passed a 787 billion dollar stealfromus bill without even reading it. Yet they actually have the audacious nerve to talk about responsibility to those of us who have been handed the bill.

"Renewing America's Promise"

During his election campaign Obama repeatedly promised, "Change." Now that he has been elected America has gotten very little of that change in his selection of who is going to help him run the country as he has mainly just recycled the Clinton administration. His promises of transparency and full disclosure of his policies have been completely ignored, as has his empty boast to eliminate congressional earmarks. He had brazenly declared that the old ways of politics in Washington would be no more but nearly half of his cabinet have evaded paying income taxes and another highly desired nominee dropped out due to a criminal case bending against him in his home state. As those of us who had opposed his election expected it has been business as usual under this new maybe legal President.

But the one thing Obama has managed to change is the once consecrated promise that America has held for her people for over two hundred years. That sacred pledge that no matter what was your social station or economic standing in life, through hard work, perseverance and faith one could expect to achieve advancement and opportunity in the Land of the Free. Like nowhere else on earth or in history, in the America of Our Founding Fathers you could change your fortunes and that of your family's.

In less than two full months in office Obama and his Democratic Congress have begun the transition of that revered American promise of being allowed to fulfill your own destiny to one of total dependence upon their government. They have set in motion the means to destroy individual success and achievement. Under Obama's rule if you are reliant and you progress the fruits of your labor and sacrifice will be taken from you to be redistributed to those among us who do not wish to toil or prosper. In the true spirit of socialism Obama has campaigned against 'the rich' coming up just short of inciting class warfare yet all the while making clear his intentions to redistribute the wealth because that is the 'fair' thing to do. In order for socialism to succeed it must instill in a large portion of a society a victim mentality. A mentality that people would be able to prosper and live better than they are if it were not for those of wealth who have been holding them back. Of course this is a false setting for in America the only thing that is holding someone back is that someone's own misguided beliefs of being a victim and their individual failure to try.

That is why it is so infuriating for me to see Obama's administration label their 'budget' with the artificial boast of "A New Era Of Responsibility: Renewing America's Promise." Obama has shown a consistent lack of accepting responsibility throughout his career and is not planning to "renew America's promise" but rather to destroy it all together.

Somewhere the man that the newly freed Slaves called Father Abraham now weeps.
