New Rules: Part Five
14) You cannot call me a racist because I did not vote for Obama.
There were 208.3 million eligible voters in this year's Presidential election. Of those approximately 61% voted in this last election, or roughly 127.06 million. Obama received 52% of the popular vote to McCain's 46% or a 6% difference. While liberal Democrats are crowing about a landslide victory or claiming that this was a 'mandate' by the American people, Obama won by roughly eight million votes, which is less than the population of the city of Los Angeles. A six percent victory in the popular vote is hardly a landslide or ' a mandate by the American people.'
White voters went to McCain at 55% to Obama's 43% or a 12% margin. Now let's think about this for a moment. When someone, anyone, especially the media, talks about racism in this country everybody is supposed to automatically think of White Americans. But America just elected a Black president who was voted in with the help of 43% of those racist white voters. Clearly there was little if any advantage to McCain with the White vote due to race, or the dreaded Bradley Effect, which the Democrats were saying would hurt Obama when all of the closet racist Americans pulled the voting lever in the secrecy of the polls.
I fully understand the importance to Black Americans, and for America itself in finally electing a Black man as President. I am just sorry that with all of the more qualified, experienced and Patriotic Black Americans, men and women in our country, that we had to have Obama as that first.
Hispanic voters went Obama's way at 67% to McCain's 31% resulting in a 36% margin. Asian voters voted for Obama 62% to 35% or a 27% Obama advantage. While minorities listed as 'Others' voted for Obama 66% to McCain's 31%, a difference of 35%.
In this election 95% of Black Americans who voted cast their ballots for Obama compared to just 4% for McCain. Again I understand that this was a first. But it was an election for the President of the United States who is going to have a direct impact on our lives and that of our children. Since I believe that most Black Americans and other minorities take just as much responsibly in their duties as citizens of our country as do most White Americans, I cannot accept that 95% of the Black Americans who voted for Obama all agree with his policies or his character. This minority vote was primarily based upon the race of the candidate and would not have been tolerated by the media or the public if it were the other side of the coin. I also have to question if future Black American's who are nominated as a major party's candidate for president will be the recipient of the same lopsided voting margin by Black Americans and other minorities, which were seen in this election?
The fact that Obama's father was not a U.S. citizen does bother me and there seems to still be some questions about his actual birthplace. However, I do not know if those questions are legitimate or not. But Obama's race meant nothing to me. With his policies, history of anti-American associations, inexperience and his falsehoods, I would not have voted for Obama if he had been my own mother's blue eyed son. But because I raised these questions and am white, I will be attacked as a racist.
15) You must show the same unyielding, judgmental mentality towards your new President that you have so critically displayed for the last eight years with President Bush.
It is laughingly hypocritical that Obama, the Democrats and those of you who have voted him into office now turn to the rest of us who did not and tell us that what we all need to do is to just get along and blindly accept Obama's coronation. This is absurd coming from a group of people who were willing to hang President Bush from the nearest tree for everything he had said or done for the last eight years. You all think that Bush will go down in history as the worst President ever, which amplifies my point. I doubt he will, but because of the way you all accepted and supported him as your President when others voted him in, Bush will certainly go down in history as one of the most senselessly abused.
There is little sagacity in asking any of you if in fact you were not really all better off a little over two years ago before you all voted in a Democratic controlled Congress. I know that all of my family and friends and I were. You were too, but you will never admit it. Your Democratic controlled Congress continually held a lower approval rating than even your hated President Bush. Why is that? Yet while consistently dwelling in the depths of an approval rating in the low teens you have now voted in even more pathetic liberal Democrats to see if they can finally hit a record zero APR in the next two years. My advice is that when your new unimproved Democratic controlled Congressional APR bottoms out at 10... sell.
When McCain honestly stated in his campaign that he would, "reach across the aisle to work with both parties" you mocked him even though he had been doing just that his entire career. None of you ever even bothered to look up his record of being precisely the 'Maverick' that he really is. Instead you scoffed at this label. A nickname that McCain had earned years ago in working both sides of that Senate aisle before Obama had even made his twisted way back West for his internship in the corrupt Chicago/Daly Political Machine. You laughed when Obama sneered, "McCain… he's not a maverick." Yet it was this Maverick label that cost McCain eight years ago when he ran against Bush for the Republican nomination. It also had a lot to do with costing him this election, because this 'Maverick' who really does know how to work both sides of the aisle, has never been conservative enough for the conservatives.
Instead Obama falsely took up McCain's honest claim that he would now, "reach across the aisle." Towards the end of the campaign Obama was declaring that he knew how to get things done using "bipartisan politics." The most liberal man in Congress, with minimal U.S. Senate and Washington experience, was now claiming that he could reach across the aisle to work with moderate and conservative Republicans and all of you blindly accepted this most improbable scenario. That would be very funny if this whole situation did not hold such dire consequences for all Americans.
As for your 'Change', Obama promised a change from old time corrupt Washington politics yet selected as his VP a Senator who has been embedded in this old time corrupt Washington politics since 1973! Or since Obama was just twelve years old and his good friend Weatherman Ayers was still on the run from our government! Talk about old time corrupt Washington politics, Biden was in Congress fourteen years before that old man McCain who you said was too engrained in the old time corrupt Washington politics, so much for your 'Change'.
Now Obama has selected fellow Chicago politician House Representative Rahm Emanuel to be his White House Chief of Staff. Emanuel held this same position for Clinton sixteen years ago! That's change? Sounds much like the old time corrupt Washington politics again. Emanuel was so corrupt that Clinton even showed him the door. But now, he's baaaack! Your President who ran on the promise of 'Change' has chosen with his first two major selections for his administration a VP who started in Washington thirty-five years ago and a W.H. Chief of Staff who was booted out by the last Democratic President sixteen years ago. If its change he's after, so far your President is 0 for 2 and is looking to go 0 for 3 with Hanoi John Kerry as his potential Secretary of State. Kerry has been an embedded member of the old time corrupt Washington politics for twenty-three years.
Obama now states that he can get things done through bipartisan politics. But Emanuel is well known in D.C. political circles as being a 'hatchet man.' Politicians who can get things done through bipartisan politics don't hire hatchet men to do their bidding. Just ask Lenin and Stalin.
But since you are all still so yearning for this promised 'Change', how's this? In an underhanded way Obama has finally given you some of this 'Change' that you can expect from a man who sat silent for twenty years as another screamed obscenities about your country and fellow countrymen. Like Obama, Emanuel is a product of the old time corrupt Chicago/Daly Political Machine. So now instead of just the same old time corrupt Washington politics Obama has added into the mix the old time corrupt Chicago politics. Now even I have to admit that's 'Change!' Two corrupt political systems for the vote of one. Add this up and you now have an ultra liberal, socialist Democratic President in the White House, a liberal Democratic controlled Congress plus an ever-increasing liberal judicial system, all of which threatens to eliminate our checks and balances and that equals disaster. Oh, and lest we forget, you can also count on a news media that has completely forgotten how to do its job when it comes to being objective. None of this bodes well for the American people, including those of you who voted for Obama.
In electing Barack Hussein Obama you ignored his past and present associations with men that would have destroyed any other candidates' careers. You looked past his undeniable inexperience and elected him to the highest office in our Nation and the leader of the Free World. Unquestioningly you accepted one lie after another as he repeatedly changed his stories about his unpatriotic and criminal associations and his limited career. You conveniently forgot about the lunatic ravings of an anti-American, racist mentor's twenty-year relationship with Obama and blindly accepted his supposed patriotism.
You completely disregarded the obvious special interests and overwhelmingly anonymous hundreds of millions of dollars in questionable campaign funds. With no thought for your fellow Americans you applauded when your socialist President promised to steal from the 'rich' and give it to you. You refused to admit any link between Obama and the fraudulent voter registrations perpetrated by his long time associate organization, ACORN. You forgot MLK's 'Dream' of judging a man by his character instead of the color of his skin.
In a time of war, mounting aggressions from numerous foreign adversaries and in a world threatened by global terrorism you handed over the command of our military to a man who has promised to virtually disarm our nation, snatch defeat from the hands of victory in Iraq and with absolutely no military experience himself plans to rebuild our military as he sees fit.
During yet another energy crisis you have elected a man who will not drill offshore or in ANWAR and by executive privilege is now going to ban the already proposed drilling set to begin in Wyoming. He will not build new nuclear power plants, new oil refineries or allow the conversion of coal. Arrogantly he has boasted that he will bankrupt anyone who even tries to open a new coal refinery with his 'new' government enforced emission standards.
You completely ignored all of the evidence of Fannie and Freddie directly pointing at the Democrats and your man as a major reason for our financial collapse. You completely ignored the Top 21 Wall Street corporations' multi-millions in donations to your Democrats, far exceeding anything the Republicans received, yet screamed for the heads of every Republican within hearing when Wall Street collapsed.
You have elected a man who stood before Planned Parenthood and vowed that he would lift the ban on full term abortions thus allowing a form of legal infanticide on children who have survived an abortion. Before that same group Obama promised that he would introduce sex education to our five year olds and you agreed with that insanity by voting him into office. Likewise he has stated that with his executive privilege he will lift the ban on stem cell research.
You simply forgot that a candidate's character is more important and is more valuable than false campaign promises.
Now let's see, did I forget anything? Oh yes, Obama has said that he would like to change our National Anthem from "The Star Spangled Banner" to "I Want To Teach The World To Sing In Perfect Harmony." But I think he was kidding. Or was he?
You allowed all of this in your own candidate Obama after eight years of viciously condemning our nation's President every time the man sneezed. Not once in eight long years did you even try to support The President Of The United States, George W. Bush because you just didn't like him. And now you want all of us who didn't vote for this man Obama to sit down and shut up. That's not going to happen. I'm not looking for revenge just because you were all such embryonic morons in your attitude towards our entire country after Bush was elected. But with Obama you looked socialism and corruption directly in his unpatriotic eyes, shrugged and voted for him anyway. You can put lipstick on a… well you've heard this before.
So just don't expect the rest of us to follow along blindly now.
God Bless America
Semper Fi,
Mike

So true....the words you wrote again.
After the election a young man told me he voted for Obama and he was so sorry as he did not know Obama wants to let doctors suck the brains out of babies. He said Obama is bad and now there is no way to take back his vote. He was a young man that just followed along with what young people he knew did and they all voted for Obama.
Christians voting for Obama is really hard for me to understand 'why?'

Very well written. It puts tears in my eyes. I am just sickened as to what ppl have done. The way they have treated Bush when he won and the whole eight yrs. I think he will go down as one of the best presidents we've had. Considering all he had to deal with. This is'nt change it's a repeat.... but will be worse. I wonder about his real birth place also. One of his Aunt's said she was in the birthing room. (in Africa) What about the ppl o didnt pay them. I bet within 6 mths I wont have anyone I meet that says they voted for him. lol When clinton did all his military shut downs, I knew alot of ppl in VA. But couldnt find anyone who voted for him. lol I dont think he really won. Did you hear about the hackers on the voting machines, and the virus that changes the votes. THE EAGLE IS CRYING AGAIN ;( CAUSE HIS HEART IS BROKEN. ALONG WITH THE STATUE OF LIBERTY. ;(

I guess it's time for all of us to reach across the aisle. "Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer." There are so many problems facing not only our nation, but the world, we really need God and lots of prayer for the next four years. Yes, there are people who just want to do harm and are interested in only their own benefit, but it is up to the rest of us to do the right thing, to seek the good in all things, to overcome the evil, bad, and darkness. Some days it may be difficult to find humor, or even a smile, but it is a day in our lives which we will never again possess, so make it a good one!
