My New Computer

Here is a picture of my new computer I got last week from "Jake's New And Used Puters". They've got a great company slogan: "If we can't help you, you can't be helped." It cost me a little more than the listed price but like the salesman, 'Jake The Snake' told me, "Hey! It's an antiquated!" I think I got a great deal for just under twice the price of it when it was new and I'm so glad to be back on line.
One of the things I liked about buying at Jake's was that his store, although a little run down, was in such a friendly neighborhood. There were all these ladies walking around and they all came up to me and said "Hi, Honey", or "Hey good lookin'!" and all kinds of other complimentary stuff. They all seemed so friendly. Heck, they all wanted to take me home. One one of these ladies really gave me a shock for she knew exactly why I had come down there because she asked me, "Hey handsome, you lookin' for a good time?" Now how did she know that I was there looking for a new computer so that I could get back online and have a good time with all my e-mail friends? She must have been one of those clairvoyance ladies. She did look just like Miss Cleo. Even the one old man I ran into was friendly because he came up and offered me a drink out of this paper bag he had. Must have felt sorry for me because it was so hot out that day. Actually I felt sorry for him cause he didn't seem to be able to walk very well or keep his balance. I think one of those nice ladies took him home with them.
Jake's son, Vinnie, even helped me take the computer out to my van, lets see somebody do that at Best Buy! Although, the boy did seem a little clumsy because he kept bumping into me.
Plus they have one hell of a great tech support service. In fact I have spent so much time calling their 900 number that the tech, Alice and I are now on a first name basis. I think Alice is related to Jake somehow, a wife, or sister or both maybe. Anyway Alice is just great, she calls me 'Sweetie', and has helped me with all kinds of set up problems although she does talk awfully slow and has to put me on hold for long periods of time. The one problem I do have with Alice is that the more I talk to her the less she wants to talk about my computer. She keeps wanting to tell me what she's wearing and about really personal stuff that she and Jake must do. She also keeps asking me if I am getting excited yet and I tell her, "Heck yeah I'm excited! We've almost got this thing up!" That's when she really seems to get personal.
The only problems I had that day was when I got out to the van I found that I must have lost all my hub caps on my way down to Jake's store. I drove home real slow and looked on both sides of the road but never saw my hub caps. Then when I got home I found that I had lost my wallet. It's funny because the last I remember Vinnie and I had just put the computer in my van and I took out my wallet to place my receipt in it then put my wallet into my back pocket. That was when Vinnie accidentally bumped into me again and almost knocked me over. Like I said nice kid but awfully clumsy. Well my wallet must be laying somewhere in the van. Anyway if any of you live in Arizona and need a new computer Jake's is on the corner of Van Buren and Washington. You can't miss it, it's in between Tito's Tattoo's and Floeshea's Therapeutic Massage Emporium.
I'll send more once I figure out why all the house's electrical breakers are switching off every time I hit enter. I think I'll call Alice. Bye for now.
Hope all of you are well.
SF,
Mike
